Samples of metal coins and miniature forts have arrived

Hello Everyone!

In this update, we'd like to discuss a few things, including coins, miniature forts and Coalitions' production-shipping timetable.

The metal coins for Coalitions are something we were very excited about as they definitely enhance the experience and are extremely thematic. However, one thing is certain: what we received exceeded our expectations! We believe that more than a few numismatists would be delighted to add them to their collection. Judge for yourselves - aren't those great?

Another thing is the miniature forts. The forts in the game aren't assigned to a specific player, so they will be in one color and are limited for the game (this means that once a certain number have been built, no more can be built). However, the most important thing is that we accepted the samples sent to us; they look excellent, and the detail is very good. Take a look:

Due to time-consuming work at the manufacturers in China, we know that shipping in September will not be technically possible (most pledges contain miniatures, and there are miniature KS-exclusive busts in all of the pledges). We therefore anticipate that shipping will take place in Q4 (October/November).

Pledge Manager and Late Pledge will close in mid-September.

Hello Everyone!

I hope this update finds you in good spirits. There are a few important pieces of information that that we want to share with you!

First, the printer informed us that the paper components of the game will be ready by the end of July and then the assembly of the meeples version will begin.

Second, we received samples of miniatures (the colors are not final!). Check out the pictures below! The miniatures have been approved by us and should be ready before September. Depending on how long it takes to deliver the container to Central Europe (the main logistics center), order assembly and shipping will begin.

Third, we are currently working on shipping lists for backers, so please check your addresses. We don’t want the package to arrive at an old address. If you have recently moved, or you want the package to be picked up by someone else, please check your BackerKit account or write to [email protected] for assistance.

Summary: shipping to backers will be realized in one wave (but see the note below), taking place at the end of Q3 2023 (provided the container with miniatures arrives on schedule); samples of miniatures have been approved and miniatures will be ready before September; we are preparing shipping lists.

Note: we are currently in talks with the logistics center and are trying to finalize the details of the project implementation. We may be able to start shipping meeples versions before miniature versions.

Coalitions rulebooks are ready!

Hello Everyone!

We are excited to present to you the complete rulebooks (texts) for: Coalitions, Ancien Régime, Raison d’Etat, Realpolitik, Soldiers of Fortune, and La Patrie en Danger! (expanded solo mode), as well as the player aids for Coalitions and Raison d’Etat!

All those rulebooks are currently undergoing final editing and proofreading, but please let us know if anything is unclear. And if you have any questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Hello Everyone!

Today we have a lightning-quick update on Coalitions. First, we have just received a batch of sample meeples for the Coalitions core game, Ancien Regime, Raison d'Etat, and Realpolitik! Take a look:

Second, it’s time to update your shipping address (if you changed it between now and the campaign). Also, we can confirm the game will be shipped in Q3 2023, and your credit and debit cards will be charged on 17 April. That’s right, Coalitions is getting ever closer!

Hello Everyone!

We’re very sorry to have kept you waiting so long for our latest update. We wanted to wait a bit longer to give you something concrete to look at – and the Quick Start Guide plus the Player Aid certainly fit the bill! You can check them out and comment on them if you like, keep in mind that these are not the final production-grade pdfs, though; they will go through additional proofreading.

We’re currently working on the core game rulebook and expansion pdf files and we’ll share these (or at the very least the core rulebook) with you as soon as we can.

Additionally, the pledge manager won’t be closed until April. We hope to give you the final closing date for the PM in the next update.
